Bud comes to us from Lodi, California (originally born in Hillsboro Illinois) and moved to Sacramento in 1976. Bud has been involved in music all his life, starting with his Dad dabbling in Country Music, his brother in Rock & Roll, and even his whole family singing together. Bud's music career started when he was about 15 years old singing in a small church choir. Bud has never had any formal training but it became very natural and soon found himself singing harmony to most any song that he heard. When Bud turned 17 he got approached to sing in his first 'Full-Time' Gospel Quartet. This group traveled across the Western United States and eventually went into Country Western Music. From there they contracted with the top West Coast Fair Agent, in California, and traveled throughout the Western States in all the State Fairs. For the next 15 years Bud traveled around the United States and Canada singing Country and Gospel Music, as well as singing as a soloist for 5 years, having a blast meeting new people and performing to crowds from 50 to over 5,000 at a time. At age 33, Bud took an extended break from "Full-Time' Music and started working in the Computer related field. Bud did not enter into serious music again until late 1997, when he was out for a night of Karaoke and met up with another singer who also loved to sing and they decided to sing a duet together. Well, they liked the sound and continued singing Karaoke until about (6) six months later when a third singer joined in and from there they started getting requests to sing at multiple functions. You can find this group performing at many Rodeo's as well as special Benefits. Well, from there you can see where Bud's music career has gone. You can also tell that music is a very big part of his life and plans on making it his "Full-Time" career real soon. So watch the papers and TV, as you will see this group out there often. |
